Owner Lois Reid is highly experienced in the field of small business and life coaching. After receiving her doctorate from Teachers College, Columbia University in Adult Education and Leadership, she worked in the field of college administration and as an adjunct faculty member for more than 20 years. During this time, she was responsible for hiring and supervising a team, developing and managing budgets, crisis intervention, and creating and delivering training programs. She served as a mentor for undergraduate and professional staff members. She discovered that she had a special passion and gift in coaching staff members. It was this love for coaching that lead her to transition into personal leadership and small business coaching. She enjoys working with clients both individually and in group settings.
Dr. Lois Reid is completing her coach training at Coachville. Courses of particular interest include: personal leadership, coach the game, coach to win, group coaching, super small businesses, and the business academy. Coach Lois is a life long learner and has also studied marketing and internet marketing. She has recently developed an interest in social media and local business marketing. Her love of learning and researching topics has enabled her to create an extensive resource library. Clients frequently comment that she has a wealth of information that she draws upon and shares with them.
Coach Lois has studied with several notable mentors: Dan Kuschell, Fabienne Frederickson, Jim Edwards, Rob Schultz, Alex Mendosian, Paul Culligan, Erik Stafford, and Kendall SummerHawk. Dr Lois continues to attend classes, teleclasses, conferences, and participates in mentoring programs so that she may stay current.
